We are seeking a qualified Insurance professional to join our team as an Insurance Account Representative. As an Insurance Account Representative you will help with the growth of our business through value-based conversations and excellent customer experience. You will be key player in the support and development of the agency operations through the sales and service of personal lines products (auto and home insurance) with the opportunity to support additional product lines such as Life Insurance. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Home & Auto insurance Sales and Service. 
  • Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet our clients needs. 
  • Prospect and cross sell products/services that benefit the client. .    
  • Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve customer complaints and escalate issues appropriately. 
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Schedule appointments & answer incoming inquiries

  • Sales experience both inbound and outbound preferred
  • Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas

  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers

To join our team

  • General Insurance License is required and is in good standing ( OTL)
  • Willing to obtain and work towards Life Licence ( LLQP)
  • Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain and maintain all licenses. 
  • Min 2 years sales and service experience within the insurance sector 
  • Knowledge of auto and property insurance products and experience with selling techniques is an asset.

  • Confidentiality with respect to client’s personal information. 
  • This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment. 
  • You may be required have your own vehicle, valid driver’s license and insurance. 
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
